Real Madrid chief Emilio Butragueno feels the current squad is among the best in the club's history.
Real fell short in the Liga and Champions League last season.
But Butragueno insists: "This is one of the best squads in the club's history. It is extraordinary. Everything can be improved, but last season we showed we can compete at the highest level.
"Now the squad is stronger than last season."
