Beyond The Pitch - Oliver Kay

Anto is joined by Oliver Kay right after the Manchester United-Chelsea match to take a look at the key talking points including the intensity at Old Trafford which Chelsea could never quite seem to match when the contest was in doubt. We also examine the season-long dip in form for Michael Essien and evaluate whether the rise of Liverpool can be sustained knowing that virtually every one of the powers in the Premier League will reinforce this off-season. We also consider whether Manchester City will view this season as a lost opportunity given that the usual power teams at the top of the table were not vintage sides and if the fourth slot seems depreciated given a bit of perspective. Finally we look a bit at Arsenal and how Wenger frames this trying season on the heels of the Stoke City result and finally we turn our attention to the relegation battles as some teams no longer have destiny in their own hands. As usual, Oliver Kay helps us get underneath the stories that matter in the Premier League.
